GIMME SOME SUGAR…
What is Sugaring?
Sugaring is an organic form of hair removal that is known to be the most gentle form of epilation. This art of sugaring derived from Ancient Egypt and has been practiced for centuries in the Middle East. The sugar paste is all natural and is made up of only lemon, sugar, and water.
Why Sugaring?
· Sugaring is safe for clients with skin sensitivities such psoriasis, eczema, and clients with varicose veins. Unlike shaving and traditional waxing, sugaring removes the hair in it’s natural direction of hair growth, therefore it reduces the risk of in-grown hairs developing. (Keep in mind that it may take a few sugaring sessions to get any in-grown hairs that are already present or lying beneath the surface of the skin.)
· Sugar paste is hygienic and bacteria cannot breed in high concentrations of sugar
· Easy cleanup because the sugar paste is water soluble
· No strips or sticks needed, therefore less waste and better for the environment
